Softwareentwickler CAE-Programme

(Full-time)

Data Compression of Simulation Results:

We implement data compression tools for several simulation result formats with the focus on the automotive sector. With data compression we overcome the challenge of increasing file sizes, compute ressources in the cloud, and data bandwidth limitations. The ability to keep a big number of simulation results allows our customers to apply Machine Learning methods to improve e.g. the crashworthiness of their design.

Your Task:

You contribute to the software development as part of an interdiciplinary team of engineers, mathematicians and computer scientists. We develop our software in C++ using Eclipse running on Linux. Current topics are

  • further development of the software architecture,
  • performance optimation using parallel computing,
  • adaptation of our artificial intelligence methods
  • robustness and tests.

Each team member is responsible for an independent part of the development.
